Senior Logistics Operation Officer – Global Supply Chain Team
Our client, a pioneering leader in tropical vegetable seeds, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Logistics Operation Officer to join their Global Supply Chain Team in Bangkok. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in managing logistics processes tied to the Department of Agriculture (DoA), ensuring compliance and efficiency in both inbound and outbound logistics. Your contributions will support the successful delivery of high-quality seeds to millions of smallholder farmers worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and approval process for all Department of Agriculture (DoA) applications, including product registrations, import/export permits, phytosanitary certificates, and seed quality testing
• Ensure precise and timely collection, validation, and submission of all necessary documentation for product registration and compliance
• Oversee the activities of the Logistics Messenger to guarantee efficient document submission and retrieval
• Maintain meticulous records of all DoA permits and proactively manage renewals to ensure continuous compliance
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align logistics operations with DoA requirements
• Conduct regular audits and identify areas for improvement to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance compliance
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with DoA officials, facilitating smooth execution of logistics processes and addressing regulatory challenges
• Stay updated on changes in Thai DoA regulations, ensuring that the team remains informed and compliant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience managing DoA or similar government processes, with a solid background in import/export logistics, preferably within the food, agriculture, or pharmaceutical sectors
• Proficiency in both English and Thai, with strong communication skills
• A hands-on approach with the ability to manage details and execute tasks independently
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively, balancing diverse needs and making well-considered decisions
