Business Analyst (Finance)

Our client, a global leader in the agricultural sector known for its innovation and commitment to sustainability, is seeking a D365 Finance Business Analyst. In this role, your key responsibilities include understanding business processes, configuring the system with minimal customizations, and optimizing efficiency.

As an integral part of our internal ERP implementation and support team, the Business Analyst (Finance) will be essential in deploying and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) across EWS locations.This position is central to driving operational efficiency and consistency by ensuring that financial processes and systems align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Champion and promote the adoption of D365 F&O within the finance business users
• Analyze current business processes and assist users in making the best use of systems
• Coordinate process improvement efforts by documenting current processes and analyzing the - effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and processes
• The Analyst will monitor the system to identify trends and make recommendations on process improvements. Work closely with our Business Process Owners (BPO) and Subject Matter Experts (SME) on projects across all the regions
•  Knowledge of end to end D365FO implementation, including interfacing and integration
• Support users on how-to questions, walk-through D365 steps and train users as needed
•  Coordinate with central data providers to ensure that all master data is filled in for transaction processing
• Work with the technical team members to make sure the business needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions
• Document global standards for configuring companies on the D365 platform
• Provide testing support using modern techniques in unit, UAT, and integration testing
• Work with consulting and support partners to support and resolve technical and functional issues in the D365 system
• Partner with other team members on continuous process improvement activities (i.e., system enhancements)

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or Computer Science or related field
• Dynamics 365 implementation experience with more than one (1) full life cycle implementation and 4 years of experience with Dynamics 365/AX required
• Business domain experience in the Accounting/ Finance industry is preferred
• Experience in financial report development and financial data analysis using Power BI, Management report, and other financial reporting tools
• Experience with modeling financial business process and translating requirements into a business application
• Previous ERP experience with GL, AR, AP, SO modules in D365 Finance Operations preferred, or Microsoft AX. (Will train D365 Finance modules if extensive ERP accounting experience)
• Work well as part of a team to meet deliverables
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with cost accounting and cost management in the manufacturing environment
