CNC Supervisor

Our client, a global leader in manufacturing aluminium components for the aerospace and electric vehicle industries, is seeking a skilled CNC Supervisor to join their manufacturing team.
This full-time, on-site role involves leading the setup of a new CNC production line, including installation, programming, and operations. The CNC Supervisor will also oversee production planning, quality assurance, and team development, contributing to continuous improvement across operations.
Responsibilities

• Set up and automate a new CNC production line, including installation, programming, and operations
• Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet operational goals
• Ensure quality assurance standards and implement continuous improvement processes
• Lead, train, and develop the CNC team to optimise performance and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure efficient and smooth operations

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of CNC machinery, including setup, programming, and operation
• Proven ability to automate CNC machinery and enhance process efficiency
• Strong project management and team leadership skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team and cross-department collaboration
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS), including IATF and PPAP standards
• Experience or a strong interest in automation technologies
