Our client, a leading facilities services provider with a strong national presence, is seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Specialist to oversee compensation and benefits administration. This role involves collaborating with employees and stakeholders to formulate effective compensation and benefits plans that align with the company's objectives and market standards.
Responsibilities

  • Provide salary inputs for new hires, promotions, and contract conversions
  • Serve as the expert on compensation and benefits, providing technical support for related projects
  • Review and regularly update benefit policies to ensure market competitiveness and industry alignment
  • Manage annual merit increases, employee salary reviews, and bonus processes
  • Collaborate with business units and HR teams to develop and implement C&B initiatives
  • Ensure accurate HR data entry, including job codes, organizational structures, and pay groups
  • Administer employee benefits, including healthcare, insurance, provident fund, and social security
  • Support the redesign and alignment of compensation and benefits strategies with company HR and business objectives
  • Participate in market surveys, such as Total Rewards Surveys, to benchmark and analyze compensation practices
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets related to HR personnel costs and compensation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on compensation and benefits
  • Expertise in job evaluation, salary benchmarking, and designing competitive compensation packages
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Experience with payroll, tax, visa, and work permit processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with HRIS is a plus
  • Knowledge of labour laws and regulations is advantageous
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work under pressure to meet deadlines
