This pivotal role will oversee financial activities across R&D programs and plant operations, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing profitability, and maintaining compliance with financial policies. Responsibilities:

Financial Compliance & Procedures

  • Develop, execute, and manage internal finance procedures, including spending authorization, ensuring alignment with company policies
  • Ensure plant operations adhere to finance-related procedures, covering product flow, inventory, and internal controls

Reporting & Financial Forecasting

  • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring data reliability and consistency
  • Manage standard costing, variance and margin analyses, budgetary control, and monitor changes in sales and purchasing prices

Program Controlling

  • Oversee program budgets and cash flow, ensuring alignment with company financial goals and compliance with controlling procedures
  • Support profitability improvement initiatives, perform financial analyses, and manage forecasting and budget validation for programs

Business Partnership

  • Act as a financial partner to plant and engineering management, providing recommendations for action plans to achieve operational goals
  • Drive productivity improvements, optimize cash flow, and increase financial awareness among operational teams

Collaboration with Shared Services

  • Partner with the Shared Service Center to validate financial data and facilitate information exchange with internal and external auditors

Leadership Expectations

  • Collaborate in setting short- and long-term objectives for the plant, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Take ownership of financial outcomes and empower team members to make decisions within their scope of responsibility
  • Develop the controlling team, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance
  • Promote ethical practices, integrity, and accountability in all financial and operational activities

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering
  • Experience: 8 years in finance, including plant-level controlling experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Skills: Proficiency with industrial systems; SAP and automotive industry knowledge are advantageous. Strong accounting expertise, business insight, teamwork skills, and fluency in English
