They are seeking an experienced Merchandise Development Manager to spearhead strategic sourcing, merchandise development, and branding initiatives.

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with organisational objectives
- Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers to ensure merchandise delivers value and adheres to brand standards
- Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data for merchandise planning and development
- Design and create merchandise that aligns with contractual obligations and brand direction
- Analyse market trends and provide actionable insights into merchandise usage and benefits
- Manage inventory to prevent overstocking or shortages, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with brand and asset management teams to align merchandise with contract benefits and branding strategies
- Engage internal stakeholders to support marketing initiatives and branding objectives
- Develop and oversee the annual merchandise plan, including budget and timeline management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- At least 5 years’ experience in sourcing, merchandise development, or a related field, ideally in alcoholic beverages, consumer goods, or luxury international brands
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proven track record in managing budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously
- Comprehensive knowledge of branding, marketing principles, and inventory management systems
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
