Plant Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a skilled Plant Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in the launch and ongoing financial health of a new manufacturing plant. This dynamic role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on management of budgeting, cost control, and compliance, ensuring operational excellence and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, providing financial insights to guide decision-making and strategy
• Lead financial planning and control of capital and operational startup expenses, ensuring compliance with corporate requirements
• Oversee annual budgeting, standard costing, and financial forecasting processes in alignment with business objectives
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to optimize manufacturing costs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations, including BOI submissions and reporting
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team to support the plant's growth and complexity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field
• 10 years of finance experience, with expertise in supply chain finance, including costing, CAPEX, PPV analysis, and factory expenses
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel skills
• Proven experience in the FMCG sector, with knowledge of procurement, factory operations, logistics, and warehousing
• Fluency in both English and Thai for effective communication with local and regional stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating sustainable financial solutions
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines while building robust financial processes
• Exceptional communication and business partnering skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
