They are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead and optimise operations at their advanced facility in Thailand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic production environments, with a strong background in Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence, and strategic improvement. Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles to optimise workflows and minimise waste
  • Monitor KPIs including efficiency, quality, and scrap rates, identifying areas for continuous improvement
  • Ensure full compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, APQP, PPAP, and TPS standards
  • Lead product quality initiatives with a focus on built-in quality control and problem prevention
  • Drive automation efforts and evaluate plant layout and production flow for increased efficiency
  • Manage capacity planning, including manpower, material, and equipment utilisation
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency
  • Coach and mentor the production team, cultivating a high-performance and safety-driven culture
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve plant-wide operational goals

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, ideally with casing, stamping, press, or investment casting
  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, APQP, PPAP, TPS, and Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management systems
  • Fluent in both English and Thai
  • Demonstrated leadership in team development and coaching
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities and continuous improvement mindset
